About Me
Hello, I'm Nasreen Akseer, founder of AKSEER Sleep and Pain Services (ASAP Services).
I have been working as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) since 2004, dedicating my career to helping individuals better understand their sleep and the importance of healthy sleep habits. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate education, I developed a strong passion for promoting sleep hygiene and educating others on the vital role sleep plays in overall health and well-being.
In addition to my work in sleep medicine, I have spent the past five years working as a Physician Assistant (non-regulated role) in a multidisciplinary pain management clinic. This experience has given me valuable insight into the close relationship between chronic pain and sleep, reinforcing my belief that improving sleep can play an important role in enhancing quality of life.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Community Health Sciences and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology, which have provided me with a strong foundation in health promotion, human physiology, and evidence-informed practice.
AKSEER Sleep and Pain Services was created to combine my passion for sleep education with my experience in pain management. My goal is to provide compassionate guidance, practical education, and personalized support that empowers individuals to improve their sleep, better understand the impact of pain on rest, and make meaningful lifestyle changes that support long-term wellness.
Better Sleep. Less Pain. Better Life.
